Did you know that…
- Every two seconds, one person is forced to leave home.
- 51% of refugees are children.
- Violence and hungry have increased the number of refugees in 2017, reaching 68,5 million.
Today is the World Refugee Day and we can’t lose the occasion to show, one more year, our commitment with more than 68 million people who have been forced to flee their homes in order to save their lives.
This is the fifth consecutive year that the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) registers an increase in the displaced population.
Among the list of the main countries experiencing the greatest flees, Syria leads the list, with 6, 3 million refugees, 14% more than in 216.
