Almost 3 million children affected by the Nepal earthquake will be able to be attended

Last April the 25th there was a 7.9 earthquake in Nepal that devastated Katmandú Valley and caused an avalanche in Everest, causing more than 4.000 people dead and 8.000 injured.

This earthquake was the biggest that has had Nepal after the earthquake of 1934. It caused a high destruction and high dearth of resources. This fact, has caused a humanitarian crisis: 9.5 million of people had humanitarian aids, of which more than 3 million are children.

Before this situation, PcComponentes wanted to support UNICEF in order to provide humanitarian aids to all those children and their families affected by the Nepal earthquake.

Today we celebrate that thanks to PcComponentes users we have funded the project Emergency Nepal.

With the funds raised, UNICEF will provide emergency supplies to meet the children affected by the Nepal earthquake humanitarian aids focused in water, nutrition, medical equipment and child protection.

Definitely, we will be able to give drinkable water to 34.800 children for a week, sparing deadly diseases and/or we will send 160 first aid kids to save their lives.
