Santa Fixie and employment creation in Nairobi

At the end of last year, Santa Fixie Group users raised the amount needed in order that the NGO Bikes not Bombs could distribute bicycles and create jobs for young people from poor neighborhoods in Nairobi. You can remember the project HERE.

Today, months later, we have good news! 2,214 bicycles have been donated and hundreds of parts of them have been distributed so that the old ones can be repaired. In addition, 4 young people have received training to work in the network of Cycloville stores.

Thank you to all customers from Santa Fixie for collaborating!

Here the final report,

The schooling of 120 kids in Tuum (Kenia)

Tuum is a small village located at approximately 500 km north from Nairobi. It is an isolated place, arid and of difficult access. The minimum services of health and education are not available to the population. There is only one public primary school and the kindergarten has opened its doors to children under 6 who, before that, wandered around the fields carelessly.

Thanks of the collaboration of more than 800 users of Zacaris, the NGO Active Africa has achieved the schooling of 120 kids (from 3 to 5 years old) from Samburu and Turkana tribes.

Here the complete report!

Investing in smiles to bring joy to children in hospitals

WORLDCOO REPORT

Theodora Foundation has been investing in smiles to bring joy to children in hospitals since 15 ago. “Giggle Doctors” visit children in hospitals, hospices and specialist care centres across the world. By combining music, play, magic and storytelling these professional performers bring magical moments to brave children in challenging times.

Some months ago, PC Componentes users collected 15.000€, which allowed that “Giggle Doctors” could visit more than 1.000 kids and adolescents from different hospitals in Spain during 40 afternoons.

Once again, thank you so much PC Componentes for making it possible!

Here you have the complete report!
