¡Fira de Barcelona joins Worldcoo community!

logo-vector-fira-barcelonaToday we’re very happy to reveal the name of our new social partner. Fira de Barcelona has started to collaborate with us in order to fund social and cooperation projects!

Now, the organization offers the opportunity to add one extra euro each time attendants will buy an online ticket for some of their events.

The first one is the “Saló de l’Ensenyament”, an academic meeting for students, teachers and education centres which occurs once in a year and it’s very useful to inform about the current academic offer in Spain.

logo-adsis-web_3The first social project which they will start collaborate comes from Fundación Adsis, an organization that pursues the challenge of building a more equal and social with the integral promotion of people and groups that are excluded and at risk of social exclusion.

Attendees will help young people, like them, to have equal education opportunities, an important challenge if we consider that in Spain 6 out of 30 teenagers in a classroom are facing economic difficulties that will condition their future.

The socioeconomic situation of some children and adolescents condition their educational development. 31% of young people at risk of social exclusion do not have internet access from home, and 42% do not have enough tranquillity at home to study and do their homework.

Through this project, Fundación Adsis may provide Access and guidance in the use of digital tools to 50 adolescents who are at risk of social exclusion, accompaniment in school reinforcement and training in ICT (Information and Communication Technologies).

We invite you to follow the donation process through THIS LINK.

54% of the project released !

Congratulations everybody, you did half of it. Let’s have a look at the figures…

You are 93 Donors from 15 different countries!

Most of you are from Spain, but we have people from all over the world! Argentina, Germany, Nicaragua, México, United Kingdom, Panama, Sahara, Denmark, Rwanda, Ecuador, Switzerland, United States, Venezuela, and Austria.

You raised 2,705€ with an average of 30€ per donor.

We’ve seen a good growth of the project, if you look at the graph, you’ll find that the founds are growing regularly but you have to keep going. According to it, we should expect 100% of the project by June 25th.

So, what’s next? Now you have to tell your friends, your family, your coworkers or classmates and everybody that the project needs their help!

The best way to achieve it is to spread the maximum with your community and explain them why it is so important to form ambassadors of peace (see the previous article).

We count on you! Support the project on Worldcoo.

Sharing is caring, you may have seen this somewhere…

In today’s article we will approach the foundations of crowdfunding. Why? Because this funding method requires some knowledges to reach the success. Indeed, the base of crowdfunding is set on the crowd. On an internet platform, this crowd is your network.

So, the objective is to manage your network in order to glean some participations. How to do that? Why? Let’s see the answers.

How to manage your community?

Nothing more easy. When we say “manage”, it means “share” and “commit”. Your role as a member of worldcoo, a provider of project, or just a visitor, is to keep tuned your network. A little reflex like a share button clic, a comment, a like, or retweet is a lot more efficient that you can imagine! Truly, the internet communication is viral and extremely powerful. The slightest action gives birth to an incredible result.

Why do I have to engage my community?

Because you are the ambassador of the project. Worldcoo is only a platform who host it, but the communication is made by you. Also simply because it is the strongest way to bring a project to success. For example, if you make a donation and then tell it on your social account, there are many chances that your friends, members of your family, or anybody who can see what you’ve done do the same.

To conclude, if you are a donor, a mentor, or if you just want to support a project without involving money, you strongly should share a maximum the cause(s) you believe in to make them successful.

Got it? If so, lets join Worldcoo on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest.
And don’t forget to spread a maximum the project(s) you support!

Sharing is caring my friends 😉
