Agreements with new NGO

This month of June we have closed agreements with 10 new non-governmental organizations. With these, there’s already 499 organizations with a social purpose who are part of the Worldcoo’s community.  It means, organizations whom we have helped to fund one (or more) projects, or organizations with whom we have the possibility to do so in the future.

These ones are:

Micro donations to fight against COVID-19

We are living an unprecedented situation. Today, there are more than 700,000 cases of people infected by COVID-19, 37,000 people have dead and 187 countries are affected.

There are many organizations that are working on finding, as soon as possible, new treatments that help to stop the disease. Others, are focusing on providing support to mitigate the effects of the pandemic among the most vulnerable groups.

Over the last days, our partners have launched different emergency campaigns to raise funds for all these NGOs.  Banco Sabadell, bonÀrea, Bonpreu i Esclat, Correos, Glovo,  Iberdrola, Nicequest, PromoFarma, Sprinter, Ticketmaster… all of them have launched diferent fundraising campaigns to help Aldeas Infantiles SOS, Cruz Roja, Fundació Clínic per la Recerca Biomédica, IsGlobal, IrsiCaixa, Save The Children or UNICEF.

Together, we have already raised more than 191,000 donations!

Through coronavirus.worldcoo.com platform, you can get more information about each project and, if you want, make a donation.

2 million donations made though Worldcoo!

capcelera_2m

2MWe are proud to announce that this year we have already reached more than 2 million donations made through some of the different fundraising channels that we have for all the on and off line companies who collaborate with us.

Aladina Foundation, Saniclown, Educo or Adsis are some of the latest organizations that have been beneficiaries from the different fundraising campaigns companies such as Ticketmaster, Condis, Hawkers or Bonpreu i Esclat have carried out.

The good reception that our Social Round Up channel have had, has been a key aspect to achieve these results. As you know, the tool allows to round up the total amount of our purchase and donate the cents to a social cause in an easy, transparent and effective manner.

Cent to cent, together, we have achieved this result that will contribute to help those who need it the most.

THANK YOU everyone for making it possible!

Our policy of transparency

In this article we want to explain you how Worldcoo aims to make your charity experience something awesome.

The way we want to boost is : transparency. Because we think that the fact to follow where your money goes makes you even more happy to donate. Moreover, you are the witness of your actions. We want to engage you in the project further than the donation, plus being able to share the real change you made possible.

To end this transparency aspect, we will simply keep you tuned about the construction of the project. Indeed, when a project is “Funded”, it pass automaticly to “In construction”. Then, when the project is achived, you can see it as a “Success story”. The follow up starts with the begining of the crowdfunding campaing and ends when the project is a success story. We illustrate all the process by blog articles with stories, pictures, and videos.

So, when you donated for a project, make sure to have a look to see how it is going 😉
