Healthy breakfast for children at risk of social exclusion

The social iniciative has made possible that organizations such as CRIS Cáncer, Down Madrid, Saniclown and Acción Contra el Hambre can implement their projects around the world.

This is a project that promotes equal opportunities in the educational system, improves healthy living conditions by fighting against malnutrition and fostering the integration of families in their communities through tools that promote their personal and professional development.

All the donations received through the Social Round Up, children at risk of poverty or social exclusion in the Community of Madrid will receive a daily healthy breakfast.

Viena launches its 2nd campaign through Social Round Up

The new campaign, “Cent to cent, we make future”, invites to collaborate with Gasol Foundation when paying with card

LOGO VIENAAs you know, since the end of last year, all the customers of Viena that pay with card have the opportunity to round up the total amount of their purchase and donate their cents to a social cause. Until now, they have been collaborating in favor of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation. In total, they have raised more than €235,000! This contribution will help the organization to implement a new Research Unit in the Prevention of Dementia, a pioneering project promoted by the same organization. The new project: promote and support scientific research in the field of child health

logo_gasol_foundationViena launches a new social project this week. On this occasion, the objective is to collaborate with the Gasol Foundation to carry out a new study – called PASOS- that will help to know the habits and lifestyle of Spanish children and teenagers.

Did you know that 80% of young people doesn’t have a sufficient level of physical activity? (OMS 2018)

The results obtained from the PASOS study will help establish some lines of action for children’s health according to the reality and the identified needs, always with the objective of combating the sedentary lifestyle of children and the little physical activity.

2MWe are proud to announce that this year we have already reached more than 2 million donations made through some of the different fundraising channels that we have for all the on and off line companies who collaborate with us.

Aladina Foundation, Saniclown, Educo or Adsis are some of the latest organizations that have been beneficiaries from the different fundraising campaigns companies such as Ticketmaster, Condis, Hawkers or Bonpreu i Esclat have carried out.

The good reception that our Social Round Up channel have had, has been a key aspect to achieve these results. As you know, the tool allows to round up the total amount of our purchase and donate the cents to a social cause in an easy, transparent and effective manner.

¡bonÀrea joins our Social Round Up!

logo_bonareaCoinciding with the Multiple Sclerosis World Day, which takes place today, we’re proud to announce that we have recently signed a new collaboration agreement with bonÀrea.

Starting this week, their customers will have the opportunity to round up the total amount of their purchase and collaborate to support people who have multiple sclerosis, a neurodegenerative disease that affects more than 2,5 million people in the world.

The new mechanism, which is already working in some establishments, will be implemented progressively during June in all bonÀrea supermarkets.

El project: support for people with Multiple Sclerosis

Among others, one of the consequences of people who are diagnosed with this disease, is the progressive loss of abilities to carry out different day-to-day functions on their own, such as dressing or walking.

The full amount raised through the Social Round Up will help people with MS to participate in therapies and neurorehabilitation sessions that help them to reduce the impact of the disease and guarantee their personal autonomy.

The project will be carried out through the different organizations that work for people with Multiple Sclerosis in each region where bonÀrea has establishments, such as the Fundació Esclerosi Múltiple in Catalonia, the Aragonese Foundation of EM, EM Navarra, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation Madrid, the Association of the Valencian Community of EM and the Riojana Association of EM.

Sanchez Romero offers Social Round Up in favor of Acción Contra el Hambre

Their customers can collaborate to improve the nutrition of the rural population in Peru

From now on, the social organization which will receive the funds is Acción Contra el Hambre.

The project: Improve the nutrition in rural zones in Peru

In Peru, nearly 50% of children have anemia, one of the most silence signs of malnutrition and a health problem that affects the proper development of children.

Condis Supermarket launches this week its third charity campaign through the Social Round Up leaded by Worldcoo.

It means that everyone who pays with card, will have the opportunity to round up their ticket and donate the cents to, in this case, Ayuda en Acción.

The objective: support school reinforcement to minors at risk of social exclusion

In order to prevent situations of poverty and inequality, the NGO Ayuda en Acción offers help to vulnerable families so that children and young people can have the same basic skills and education opportunities.

Through this campaign, the customers of Condis will be able to contribute with the institution in order that they can offer scholarships for school supplies, educational reinforcement activities and psychosocial support for children and young people at risk of social exclusion.

Bonpreu i Esclat starts its 2nd charity campaign though the Social Round Up

logo_BonPreuEsclatAs you know, since February, “Bonpreu i Esclat” Supermarkets offer their customers who pay with card the option to round up the total amount and donate the cents to a social cause.

Since now, they have been collaborating in favor of Casal dels Infants with the purpose of facilitating scholar support to children at risk of social exclusion. Cent to cent, though the 750,000 donations that have been made, more than €180,000 have been raised! You can remember the project here.

Now, they start a new project in favor of Fundació Oncolliga.

The project: Attention to people with cancer and their families                 

logo_oncolliga6In 2018, more than 42.919 cancer cases were diagnosed in Catalonia  (18.267 women and 24.652 men), a 1,5% more than the year before. In the lasts six years, the total cancer diagnoses have increased around 9%.

People with cancer in situations of dependency and / or palliative have difficulties to be able to assume habitual tasks in daily life, as well as to maintain an adequate personal, familiar and emotional development.

Through this project, the clients of Bonpreu i Esclat will collaborate so that the entity can offer psychological care and support to cancer patients and their families. The objective is none other than to improve the welfare and quality of life of the whole family unit and reduce psychosocial stress.

Our Annual Corporate Report is now available

The 2018 has been the year of implementation and consolidation of the Social Round Up as our new fundraising channel for social causes. In total, more than 300 establishments have offered their customers the option to round up their ticket, which has allowed us to achieve more than 260,000 donations.

On the other hand, our fundraising channel for ecommerce, has doubled the number of donations versus the previous year.

The collaboration of the 50 “companies with a cause” that have implemented one of our four fundraising solutions (Social Round Up, Charity Widget, Social Platform and Online Bank) have allowed us to get 444,774 donations.

But the most important thing for us is that all these donations made in 2018 have enabled that 84,000 people from 74 different countries receive help through the 74 campaigns that have been funded, most of all related to health, education and food projects.

Sanchez Romero Supermarkets launches its second social challenge

On this occasion, their clients will be able to donate their cents to collaborate with the Down Syndrome Foundation in Madrid.

logosrSince this year, the customers of Sanchez Romero Supermarkets can also round up their final ticket and donate their cents to many causes.  Under the Social Round Up camaign, the customers of the company have already raised more than €5,000 to collaborate with CRIS Cáncer to boost the medical research of breast cancer.

logo_downmadridNow, they start a new charity challenge and they collaborate with  Down Syndrome Foundation in Madrid, entity that facilitates the integration of people with Down Syndrome in the family, school, work and social environment with the aim of improving their life quality.

Due to their anatomical and physiological characteristics, children with Down syndrome are more susceptible to suffering from certain types of respiratory and digestive pathologies, which often result in hospital admission with all the complications that this entails.

The goal is to raise the necessary amount so that children with Down Syndrome can access to 100 grants that allow the respiratory and digestive treatments to improve their life quality.
