Beschreibung

Over 30 years now, the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, together with its local counterpart RDT, started the program for people with disabilities. The objective is to build a project for the future that ensures equal opportunities for this group, offering the tools for its own development towards economic autonomy and a fair social status. This includes education from primary school to vocational and university degree.

This project aims to guarantee access to quality education for children with intellectual disabilities coming from disadvantaged families in rural areas.

During the school year, the students will live in B.K. Samudram, one of the six special education and integrative rehabilitation centers managed by RDT, where they will receive special training, and therapeutic and rehabilitation services by a team of qualified professionals.

With 5.000€, 15 students from the BK Samudram center will receive special training for one year.
