Because of the economic and social situation experienced by Spain during the last years, many families have been seriously  harmed, negatively affecting all members of it, especially the youngest ones.

The program of the SOS Children's Villages day care center is focused on children, youth and families at risk, exclusion or social vulnerability, with the goal of providing adequate socio-educational, therapeutic or comprehensive intervention, promoting strategies that improve their personal, family and social welfare.

In the 15 day care centers of SOS Children's Villages in Spain, a snack is offered every evening to children in order to guarantee quality food while also working hygiene and health issues.

Ensuring at least one snack a day to children in day care centers of SOS Children's Villages.
