The population of Turkana, a region located in northern Kenya, has levels of malnutrition of the 30% and the forecast is that the situation will worsen due to the lack of rainfall. It is expected to be the worst humanitarian crisis since 2011.

Aztivate has been working in the region for two years, fighting child malnutrition. Given the current situation of widespread famine, this project gains even more strength. From Aztivate they perform all those actions aimed to promote human development in the most underdeveloped areas of the planet, combating hunger, the absence of education and health, as well as combating and eliminating all circumstances of human suffering and distress with special attention to children.

In order to reduce child malnutrition rates in the Turkana region, it is necessary to have a quality pediatric medical service. To carry out this medical project and have a fully operational medical center, it is necessary to access energy sources. It is required to install a solar energy system with batteries to access the necessary energy.
