Description

The "Escoles Cor Blanquinegre" project, led by the Valencia CF Foundation and with the collaboration of the VCF Footballers' Association, is created during the 2015/2016 season with the launch of eight schools linked to football schools in areas with population with a high rate of risk of social exclusion.

The philosophy of the project is to give school and child-care collaborating centers the possibility of using sport, football and, more specifically, Valencia CF as a motivating tool for children and young people to grow as individuals, marking challenges and overcoming them , considering the context in vital found.

For this, the Foundation coaches come once a week to provide training; also held talks with children and youth with the support of former players and club staff.

On this occasion, the collaborating institution beneficiary of the project will be the Juvenile Detention Center Rei Jaume I of Picassent.

Activities

  • Soccer practice once a week, taught by Foundation coaches.
  • Talks with students by club players, former players or staff.

Who will benefit?

With 3.000 €, 16 students will attend football training and enjoy the talks given during one year.

Furthermore, for every euro donated, Valencia CF Foundation will contribute with the same amount.

Project objectives

Collaborate with responsibles of the Reeducation Centers with their daily work with students to achieve their improvement as people, students and citizens.

Promote values such as teamwork, respect and empathy, both playing football as in the daily life of each of the participating students.

Raising awareness about the importance of sport as a tool for social inclusion.
