Cruz Vermelha develops a social intervention focused on the family, with a holistic approach to their problems and limitations, capturing their resources and enabling them for a process of change.

The program focuses on the most vulnerable and needy people and supports them to improve their emotional well-being: the way they think and feel about their lives, their level of social satisfaction, positive emotions, frequency of positive feelings, personal sense of "Empowerment," resilience, the realization of your potential and overall life satisfaction.

During the pandemic and given the growing demand from the business sector and the community, the Portuguese Red Cross began to provide psychological support and psychosocial risk assessment, and other actions to promote mental health.

  • Psychological assessment
  • Psychological monitoring
  • Emotional stabilization
  • Psychological first aid
