Description
The CEPAIM Foundation is an organization which provides answers to social dynamics related to the migratory phenomenon, processes of social exclusion and gender equality between men and women.
In this case, the Moving Forward Project is designed to articulate preventive measures to combat gender-based violence against women as a way to support other actions directly driven by other entities and state administrations intervention. The project consists of a serie of workshops about prevention and awareness on gender violence, targeting women in Murcia and Madrid.
Activities
Developing 2 workshops about prevention and awareness on gender violence with a duration of 36 group hours. The contents of the workshops are organized according to 3 modules:
- Module 1: Violence awareness and its dynamics
- Module 2: Empowerment
- Module 3: Doors to a new life
People who participate in the workshops will also receive individualized attention.
Who will benefit?
With the help of PC Componentes costumers, 30 women will benefit from the workshops held in the regions of Murcia and Madrid.
In addition, attendance to these workshops will improve the living conditions and relationships within the family of each participating women.
Project objectives
Facilitating participants understanding that the establishment of free relations of violence within family and partner relationships is a key to achieve a full and satisfying life.
Detecting gender violence cases among the participants.
Reducing cases of domestic violence in the household of women participating in the workshops.
