Port Aventura Dreams is a pioneering initiative in Europe that wants to help families of children and adolescents suffering from very serious illnesses to enjoy a free holiday in a dream place, specially conceived and designed for them.
The village is made up of 6 single-family homes, for families with sick children and adolescents from 4 to 17 years of age with a maximum of 6 members and common areas equipped with gardens, inclusive games and swings and spaces for entertainment and services.
The project is carried out in coordination with a commission of medical teams and social workers from the main hospitals in Spain; they are responsible for deciding whether a child or adolescent can spend the week of vacation in the Park.
During the vacation week, families will have access to the Amusement Park and the main tourist attractions in the area. In addition, they will be offered a weekly program of activities led by the PortAventura Foundation Volunteers team.
