The arrival of summer and the closure of schools is a risk factor for children in situations of poverty and social exclusion because more of them are forced to stop doing physical, educational and recreational activities for several months.

Every summer, Cruz Roja offers summer camps for children at social risk, a playful-educational space during school vacations.

They offer two different modalities: Urban camps where kids attend diferent activities during the day but they still living in their habitual residende. Nature-base camps where children leave their habitual residence to live together for one or two weeks, with other children of their age.

Activities are developped to promote a culture of peace, equality and respect. In addition, during the different activities the feeding of the participants is complemented to guarantee a balanced and complete nutrition.
