Description
The Servei Solidari Foundation works to promote the autonomy and full citizenship of young people and adults at risk of social exclusion to generate a change towards a more just society, through education, entrepreneurship, awareness raising and integral and networked attention to the needs of people and groups.
The present project works with young people of foreign origin between 16 and 18 years old, who do not have enough linguistic or instrumental skills, can not be incorporated into the regulated educational system (INS, PFI or Training Cycles) or the working world.
The project lasts a school year, and works the learning of the host languages through small initiations to different trades, in addition to the work of labor competences.
It works in an integral way with the centers of reception referring of each young person, thing that allows to realize the itineraries of a more personalized way.
Activities
- Educational tasks to improve language skills and / or literacy.
- Initiation to different trades to promote the labor competencies of young people.
- Concrete activities to complement the teaching formation and to work the cohesion of group, as excursions, workshops of percussion and sexuality, among others.
Who will benefit?
4 young people at risk of social exclusion will receive training to improve their language skills and vocational guidance in trades (hairdresser, catering or sports monitor).
