Description
Teenagers not (engaged) in education, employment or training (NEET) represent the group most at risk in the population. The cases of teenagers and young people that have not completed their studies are the most severe, and in the past few years Italy has detained primacy in the European contest, considering youth unemployment.
This means that even more than 2 millions of teenagers are forced in a limbo between childhood and adulthood, with an incomplete life-project and blocked in the development of their adult identity, resulting in a loss of confidence in theirselves, in the institutions, and feeling like they do not belong in the social contest.
Mission Bambini helps and supports children who are poor, sick, without education or physically or morally abused, to give them the opportunity and hope of a better life.
