Muheza is one of the poorest areas of Tanzania. Low levels of access to safe water are the cause of a high incidence of waterborne diseases such as diarrhea, cholera or schistosomiasis, especially among children.
ONGAWA works so that rural areas of southern countries have access to water and sanitation, guaranteeing their sustainability through the strengthening of the capacities of public and community organizations.
Through the construction of 3 water points, the living conditions of the population will be improved, reducing the incidence of diseases, increasing their productive capacities and facilitating the exercise of other rights such as health or education.
Qui en bénéficiera ?
ONGAWA will build three water wells that will provide access to drinking water to the population of the community of Kwemsoso, about 1,250 people.
Objectifs du projet
Guarantee the right to water in communities.
