In Guinea-Bissau, Senegalese refugees face the same problems that their host communities in relation to access to basic public services. Many of the communities where they live are located far from public view services, like water supply, transportation, primary care centers and hospitals, schools, kindergartens, recreation centers and access to information.

To address these problems, PLAN has carried out projects to facilitate the local integration of refugees in the areas of health, protection, education, water and sanitation and livelihoods.

This time, the project is aimed at equipping 20 nurseries in the Cacheu region, offering furniture and necessary for children to have appropriate school care facilities for school supplies.

  • Equipment of 20 nurseries with furniture and school material.
  • Development of school activities.
