Living conditions of people living in Nueva Capital, the largest marginal zone throughout Tegucigalpa (Honduras), are negatively affected by several aspects, such as lack of infrastructure and access to basic supplies.
One of the most important problems facing young people in this area, along with high levels of malnutrition, is the small number of public schools, totally insufficient to give attention to the large number of children living there. In addition, these schools are not free, since students must pay all the material for the school year.
To solve this problem, ACOES Schools are the only free educational infrastructure in Nueva Capital. Thus, this project is focused on improving the education of young people through the provision of school kits that include school materials so they can continue their studies normally, ensuring they have full training to help them develop their capacities.
- Provision of school materials for the course
- Development of classes and training activities.
